Learning Center Supervisor (K-12 Teacher)

Alpha Christian Children’s Home and School is accepting resumes and applications for a Learning Center Student Supervisor (a teaching position).  Our K-12 Learning Center currently educates up to 16 children being served by the children’s home.  The school utilizes Accelerated Christian Education’s individual-based curriculum which provides opportunities for each child to have an education plan tailored to their specific abilities and needs.  This allows them to experience success in school, sometimes for the first time.

Teaching candidates do not need to be licensed due to the fact that our students dual enroll with Accelerated Christian Education’s accredited distance learning school.  Prior teaching experience and proficiency is preferred.  Upon hire, the teaching candidate is required to undergo training (provided) to become certified to administer the curriculum and run the learning center according to standards set by A.C.E.

Compensation includes Salary, Health & Dental Benefits, other on-site benefits, and possibly rent-free living quarters for the right candidate.  Contact us if you are looking to join a wonderful missions team as a teacher, serving children who need extra love and support.
